 Capital Athletics is a group of BMX-riders from Stockholm, Sweden who is trying to make the riding better and funnier. Maybe you have seen us some time or even ridden with us. We are even known as "The Swedish crowd" at contests and jam's etc. We ride BMX and have done it a shorter or longer time of our lifes but we all share the same love and passion for it. Our lives are pretty different from each other except that we ride - together or alone. Since January 2005, Capital Athletics is even an association. The Capital Athletics association is a member of "Aktiv Ungdom" because it gives us a better chance of getting contributions for building new ramps for example. In Skogås (Suburb of Stockholm) we have our outdoor Bikepark. It has been there for several years now and it's only getting bigger and better each year. The park has a big streetcourse with all kinds of ramps and obstacles, a big miniramp and even a nice dirt/trails-area. Once a year (usually the last weekend in August) , we have the annual Skogås-jam/contest there, maybe the biggest in Scandinavia? Will you be there this year??? The Capital Athletics association opened December 17th 2005 an indoor-park called "Capital Bikepark" in collaboration with Andreas Lindqvist - Future Promotion. The park is built and designed for BMX, but mountainbikers, skateboarders, inliners and others are more than welcome to ride there as well. The park is located at "Visättra sportcenter" in Huddinge, Stockholm. If you're passin' by Stockholm, don't be a stranger.
